Frequently Asked Questions

How can I donate furniture to you?

If you have furniture to donate in San Diego, send me a message and we can arrange a pickup or drop-off if I have space in my workshop. If I’m not able to take it, I’ll still try to help point you toward another option. I’m always rooting for good furniture to get a second chance instead of ending up in the landfill.

Do you do custom projects?

Yes! I offer custom furniture commissions in San Diego, CA. Whether you have a piece that no longer fits your style, your space, or this version of your life, I love helping people give their existing furniture a fresh start instead of starting over from scratch. Send me a message and we can talk through your ideas, style, and vision for the piece.

How much do custom projects cost?

I'd love to talk about collaborating with your brand! You can reach out to me here or send me a DM on Instagram.

Do you teach furniture restoration?

Absolutely! I offer virtual DIY suggestions and coaching for anyone wanting to learn furniture restoration skills or tackle a piece of their own. Whether you’re stuck on paint colors, prep work, sanding, staging, or just need someone to tell you “no wait, don’t seal that yet” — I’m happy to help.

How can I stay updated on you and your furniture?

You can stay updated by signing up for my monthly newsletter and following along with @SanDiegoFurnitureFlipper on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, where I share furniture rescues, before & afters, messy middles, DIY tips, and the occasional garage musical moment.

How long do custom projects take?

Most of my projects take about 6–8 weeks to complete. Right now, I do furniture flipping part-time alongside my full-time 9–5, which means my turnaround time can be a little slower. I’m a big believer that good work takes time. Every piece is restored carefully, thoughtfully, and with a lot of attention to detail — not rushed through just to get it done.

How can I work with you for my brand?

Custom projects start at $150, with final pricing based on the size of the piece, materials needed, and the time it takes to bring your vision to life. Every project is different, and honestly, some pieces just require a little more sanding, problem-solving, and furniture therapy than others. Contact me to ask!
